Vikings at Royal BC Museum
Vikings is the newest exhibit at the Royal BC Museum.
This necklace reminds me of Paco Rabanne. I particularly like the figure 8 segment of the necklace. I looked at that with a keen interest. It reminds me of something I seen in a dream.
"Outwardly Flagg seemed to be bored and distracted, but secretly, he eyed Thomas with a keen interest." Eyes of the Dragon, Stephen King
Headphones and oversized earbuds.
Glamdring! The foe hammer! The biter! The goblin cleaver!
A lintel depicting the 5 worlds of:
Asgard: Heaven. Only accessible after death. Light of a Spring morning.
Ljossalfheim: The realm of the light elves, or the light ghosts. The limbo or intermediary realm between heaven and Earth. The heaven segment of the dreamworld we go to at night.
Midgard: Earth.
Savartalfeim: The realm of the swarthy or dark elves or dark ghosts. The limbo or intermediary realm between hell and Earth. The hell segment of the dreamworld we go to at night. Dark cloudy or night skies.
Barrier: Netting. There is something that looks like a level but it is a barrier or river Styx which prevents people from going to hell. It is easier to go to heaven. One has to go out of their way to go to hell, do something really reprehensible. Killing a few people would do it.
Helheim: Hell. Only accessible after death.
A helmet reminiscent of the ones that the Rohirrim of Edoras or the one the Eomer would have worn in Lord of the Rings.
Yours truly at the 1910s aka the World War One display at the museum. I am wearing my Wicked EVACs. I deleted my World War One cartoon animation file. I recovered 97% of it using Recuva. Wow. 97% has got to be a record. Files do get overwritten fast so if you accidentally delete a file, time is of the essence. It is a miracle I got as much back. I am still reeling from the fact that I did it. I could have sworn that I presaved it on another drive. Still reeling.
Royal BC Museum Vikings collector souvenir coffee mug.
World War One cartoon photo stills.
I almost deleted this entire file with the pictures. Now that I recovered 97% using Recuva. I thought I would post the pictures that I am really glad that I recovered. These pictures would otherwise have been irreplaceable.

New Medieval Europe Exhibit, Miniature World, Victoria BC
New Medieval Europe Exhibit, Miniature World, Victoria BC
"It's the Final Countdown." Europe
For fans of Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings, the medieval Europe display at Miniature World in Victoria BC is worth checking out. I went there and checked it out and took a few photographs. I'd be a jerk if I was to take photos of the entire exhibit, then what would be left to go and see? I took photographs of a few exhibits and not all of them. Not by a long shot.
A medieval market reminiscent of the video game Untold Legends, Brotherhood of the Blade on PSP.
The forest.
The forest. Reminds me of Yoda's house on Dagobah.
Merlin magic.
Medieval Castle. This is a mindblowing display. Next time, I will have a higher definition camera which will do justice to the fine details and the overall color display.
Knights of the Round Table.
Knights of the Round Table.
A blur. I thought I would add that in to give it a je ne sais quois.
A Knight's Tale. Jousting display.
The Battle of Camlann. The bellicose colors of the battle and the fields of war.
A sepulchral diorama.
The Empress Hotel, Victoria BC. Site of the Miniature World Medieval Europe exhibit.
